Wedding Belles @ Kath Libbert
Exceptional designs for the best day of your life
Off the back of last year's successful collaboration comes the fourth annual exhibiton of contemporary wedding jewellery at the Kath Libbert Jewellery Gallery in Salt's Mill. Renowned bridalwear designer Anita Massarella joins forces with the gallery owner and florist Diane Penny to cover all bases for the day of your dreams. Together they form a trio that really offers a fresh new face to the world of weddings. The use of textures and fabrics are inspired by the beautiful scent of the lily of the valley flower, with crisp contrasts and classic colours.
Sixteen other leading designers provide a varied and individual feel with gold, silver and diamonds featured throughout. However, the main attraction, and an inspirational centrepiece, is a gown desined by Massarella, the 2003/2004 Yorkshire Wedding Designer of the Year. The dress beautifully reflects understated elegance and doesn't lean towards more fussy trimmings. A refinded veil and delicate boa finish the look off exquisitely.
For the sweet-toothed, specialist chocolate suppliers Posh Chocs introduce their range of sumptuous handmade champagne truffles. Visitors will be able to sample the luxurious confectionary and pre-order for the big day, with an exhibiton of engagement and wedding rings for men and women, neckpieces, tiaras, bracelets, earrings and cufflinks also offering an appealing selection. Visitors can also commission unique designs from any of the show's featured designers.
A distinctive alternative to the high street, this wedding presentation provides all the essentials to make your wedding day the best day of your life.
Until 02 May, Salts Mill, Saltaire.

Wedding Show
GETTING in gear for the wedding season, Kath Libbert Jewellery in Saltaire has formed a new partnership with bridal wear designer Anita Massarella and florist Diane Penny. The collaboration forms something of a one-stop-shop so that brides to be can choose from interesting ranges of contemporary jewellery, dresses and flowers for their big day. The jewellery ranges from variations of a traditional theme with handcrafted gold and white gold bands, to 'traditional with a twist' as in Jeremy G Hicks' Puzzle ring, to the downright different in the form of Mikala Djorup's Branch ring.

Until 2nd May, Salts Mill, Victoria Road, Saltaire. Tel. 01274 599790.

We love. . .
Any excuse for a trip to Salts Mill in Saltaire. We'll be heading over there on February 6 for the opening of an exhibition of gorgeous wedding jewellery at Kath Libbert's gallery. Sixteen contemporary jewellery designers will have their work on show. As well as engagement and wedding rings, there are neckpieces, tiaras, bracelets, earrings and cufflinks. There are some original ideas for Valentine's gifts, too, including a quirky collection of "Lonely Hearts" jewellery in silver, each piece encasing an original lonely heart advert. Until May 2.
