My work is inspired by various architectural structures. My focus has been on linear forms and repetitive patterns which can be seen throughout my work. I like the idea of 'always looking up' which gave my main theme of looking at ceilings. In an age of us all looking down at our phones, looking up has become more important to me and that my work is a reminder that there is a world of visual riches that exist above screen level.

This collection of work has been inspired by the structure of the ceiling in the British museum. I initially laser cut models in card before developing my designs into outcomes made in metal. Photo-etching played a big part in the creation of my contemporary jewellery collection. It enabled me to achieve the precise lines and patterns I sought to capture. My collection consists of a variety of statement brooches and smaller pieces.
