My love of beautiful design and craftsmanship has informed my work from the very beginning. I studied 3 Dimensional Design at Grays School of Art in Aberdeen and have gone on to work in a number of creative environments including marketing for a design consultancy, gallery assistant and florist while establishing my jewellery businesss.

My most inspiring career move was to undertake a two year apprenticeship with the talented Tony Thomson in Oxford where I learned all aspects of jewellery making in precious metals, gold, silver and platinum and was introduced to the world of gemstones.  Tony's workshop was filled with a lifelong collection of unusual fossils and stones gathered from all over the world.  This inspiration still informs my work today
I set up my own workshop in 2001, moving my studio from Oxford and on to the fantastic artists hub, Coburg House in Edinburgh before making my home in the Fife coastal town of Burntisland, where my workshop is now based in a converted station house.  I exhibit my work nationally and internationally.

When not working, I enjoy being outdoors with my husband, young family and the dog, blethering with good friends over coffee, tending my tomatoes or, (when I find the time), browsing a gallery or exhibition.
